Speaking Out & Night

Elie Weisel once said, "I swore never to be silent whenever and wherever human beings endure suffering and humiliation. We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented." Babies are killed everyday by abortion, and there has been hundreds of abortions by the time you are reading this ("Number of Abortions" 1) These living, breathing people need to be spoken for because they have no voice. If we don't speak for these babies, then who will? Abortions will keep happening if no one takes action. Just as Elie Wiesel stated, "Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim." In his book, Night, Wiesel recounts the Holocaust and the trauma of it all. He highlights the fact that the Nazis had no legitimate reasoning behind it. Since 1980, there have been over 1.2 billion abortions worldwide ("Number of Abortions" 1). There are over 1 million unborn babies killed per year ("Number of Abortions" 1).  Its horrific that so many live simply, and babies are being killed by the masses. Don't let these babies continue to be massacred! Right now these babies need everyone's help. Speak out against abortion!
